Doing well

I just talked to Teresa and she said she slept well last night and is feeling okay this morning. She's resting and her girls are in Cincinnati until tomorrow evening. The anti nausea meds seem to be working. Tomorrow is typically her "bad" day so pray that she doesn't have one this time. Please keep praying for healing and recovery!

All Went Well

Teresa called a little after 5 to report that all went well today with the chemo. She has a different anti nausea pill this time that is supposed to work really well so hopefully it does and she can bounce back quicker than she did last time. Keep praying for the Ramey family!

Send Teresa Happy Birthday wishes

Although Teresa likely won't feel much like celebrating her birthday next week, I would like to encourage you to email her, mail her, leave a comment on this blog or write on the facebook wall to wish her a Happy Birthday and a speedy recovery from chemo. Her birthday is Wednesday, June 17th.

Chemo on Monday

Please be praying for Teresa as she prepares to have chemo this Monday. Pray that the effects are minimal as she has been hit harder each time. Pray that the chemo continues to work against this cancer!

The Latest on T. (from Rob)

I know that a lot of people are concerned about Teresa and it has been awhile since anything has been posted. Anyway, Teresa is doing much better since the end of last week. We met with Dr. Gupta on June 3 and he is going to give her a new anti-nausea medicine for the next round of treatment that takes place on June 15. He also feels that her recovery time will take longer with each additional round of chemo. Last weekend we got the chance to attend Teresa's 20th class reunion in Covington. This was such a great boost to her attitude. She loved being able to see and talk with a lot of old childhood friends. Things will be "normal" this week. Hopefully, I will be able to take her out for a nice dinner this week in order to celebrate her 38th birthday. Her actual birthday is on June 17. However, she will be down and out from the chemo.Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. If you did not know that she was battling stage 4 cancer, you would not know it by looking at her. She is a fighter and is keeping a very positive attitude.

Pray for Recovery

Teresa is still recovering from last Tuesday's round of chemo. She is still not feeling great. Normally she has bounced back by now but this time it hit her particularly hard. Please lift her up in prayer today that God gives her strength, rest and recovery.
