Pray for Rest-Update from Rob

Just wanted to let everyone know how Teresa is doing. The treatment went fine and she did not get tired on Monday until it was time to put the girls to bed. So, it was nice that she spent the evening doing the normal routine. She slept pretty good on Tuesday night. However, since she had dry heaves with the last treatment the nurse told her to take a different anti-nausea medicine. As a result, the new medicine has not allowed her to rest as comfortably as she needs to. She was up a lot more yesterday afternoon and did not sleep well last night. The good thing is that she is not getting sick but she needs the rest and is not getting it.

Please pray that her body adjusts to the new medicine and that she gets the needed rest. Without rest, she will not be able to do what she wants to do in terms of keeping up with the girls the next few weeks. Also, please pray that the chemo is doing its job. She will have a CAT Scan on Monday to see how the cancer is reacting to the chemo. We are preparing for the worst but hoping for the best.

Thank you all for prayers and concerns! I have said it before but we are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family members.

Good Weekend, Gearing up for Chemo tomorrow

Teresa had a good weekend as she traveled to Columbus, IN to watch Rachel play in the AAU State Tournament. They also celebrated Kendal's 4th birthday. She is tired this morning but enjoyed her weekend so it was worth it.

She is slated to have round #3 of this chemo tomorrow at 2pm. Remember her in prayer as she prepares for chemo, as she has the chemo and then for the rest of the week as she feels the effects of the anti-nausea meds. Pray that this chemo is working to kill the cancer. Pray for the family as they go about their activities yet continue to care for T.

Other than losing her hair, Teresa's physical condition has not visibly deteriorated. Most times you would not even know that she is in this battle because she seems so well. I thank God for those good days and pray that they continue for a long time.
